funny story so just like her mom jacy thinks everything has to stay a certain way for example: the blocks they cant be put together when she finds blocks put together she yells "a ya bla bla" and rips it apart lol. the daycare are so patient with her not getting mad when she charges through their towers and rips them apart they think its funny and builds them just for her to rip apart. she likes her floating toys in the tub only in the water if they stick or you stick them to the side of the tub she yells and rips them back off. she hates the tv remotes on the floor she will crawl up to the couch and put them back on if they fall off. everyone tells me it cuz of me i like everything in its place where it belongs i love organization. and my silly baby!!!

she had a hard struggle and scared everyone making it through
i cried every day i had to leave the hospital with our her,
and cried when she was 4 days old and i finally got to hold her for the first time
she showed us how strong she was and got to come home after a week
she always make everyone smile and laugh when they are down or not
she is our little princess and she continues to show us how smart she is
now she loves being outside and playing with all her friends at daycare
she gets excited when we walk in grandmas front door she knows she is going to get to play with everyone.

jacy you are loved by all your family i cant believe you are going to be a year old you are my little smarty pants and keep my spirit high you are the reason i continue to grow and do better you are my sweet baby and i will never get sick of your big hugs and kisses. your smile melts my heart and i want you to know i will always love you and be there for you

if you didn't already know jacy had tubs put in her ears she did really well and no sign of trouble yet she is cutting teeth and NO EAR INFECTION :) she had learned so many words after having them put in she says duck "tuk" and thank you "day too" she talks all day long and is going to walk any day now. she is my big girl and cant wait to see what else is to come.

Jacy turned 10 months. At her doctors appointment we found out she is 15lbs 10oz and is 28.5 inches long, (a lot more now she grew over night)Jacy loves playing outside

From the week we moved in (3 weeks ago) lol we have started to get our yard the way we want it. The front yard is almost done we just have some things to get rid of and some things to put in but our back yard needs the most TLC our house has been vacant for a year and not tended to. The picture of the weeds is from a small 20 by 30 spot i have so much more to go but by the time all the weeds in the picture where pulled i have a large blister in the center of my hand so when it is done getting better I will continue. During the wait I sprayed some weed be gone to see how it does. More to come!!!!

Jacy loves bath time my mom bought her bath toys before she was born and we just got them out she loves them and gets mad when bath time is over.

Every time I take a picture of Jacy with my phone it says, "say cheese" and I get big smiles

Kristin painted this tree in Jacys room it looks so good.

I painted the one wall pink and we put the polka dots on the other walls

Me and Shawn spent the weekend putting edging in our yard, the grass had grown into the rocks and we didn't like it so we put the edging in so it was easier to mow the lawn and look better landscaped (not having a yard to take care of for 2 1/2 years I forgot how hard yard work is good thing I have great parents that taught me the meaning of hard work and dedication). We love our new house I love my vaulted ceilings and big kitchen.

Jacy turned 8 months on sat she is getting so big weighing 14 lbs 4 oz and 28 inch long she had her first ear infection 3 weeks ago and was put on medication we took her back last week to check on it and she had a double the med's didn't work so he put her on some other med, she goes back tomorrow to get it checked. she is standing up to anything she can get a hold of and is yelling at everything she says mama and dada and na na na (no no no) thanks to grandpa (erick) cox lol me and mom are trying to get her to say ya ya ya instead lol. she loves animals she yells at shawns sisters dogs if they walk away from her and she yells at the elk in my moms kitchen. all in all i love being a mom and my jacy is the best gift heavenly father could have given me she motivates me every day and is the best smile to wake up to. she turns tears into laughs and dull moments into fun. mom and dad love you jacy.

last night me shawn and kurtis went and cleaned an apartment for my land lord well kimber baby sat jacy (thank you kimber). really i wish they had a class on how to clean when you live on your own. they drew pictures on the walls and the shower was sick and the window sill was so full of water it was molding i cant wait to get out of my apartment so i don't have to do this any more lol.

The Smith Family News letter

Jacy is getting so big now 5 months old she is keeping me on my toes she is learning really fast she rolls over, scoots every where, yells, smiles, talks all day long and now can hold her own bottle. even with her rough start she is now 12 lbs 5 oz. and 25 inch long she is so long she is kicking my back seat in my car! she will soon be cutting her first two bottom teeth she is drooling up a storm.
(my mom made this beautiful dress for her)

Kasey has been just working she is loving doing daycare with her mom for two years now and and working at KFC part time. she was so excited at the first of this year to get ready for jacy every thing was ready for her to come. kasey has just been busy now keeping an eye on jacy she is all over and is really a Mommy's girl. Kasey will be starting school in Jan. majoring in elementary education she hopes to teach or open her own preschool.

Shawn is working hard going to SUU full time majoring in secondary education hoping to teach middle school. he is also working part time at KFC as the cook. he has done alot this year from helping kasey during her pregnancy to completing 36 credits by the end of next week. he is a great dad he is always there if (moms being mean)lol. he helps out with jacy alot watching her well kaesy works Monday nights and Saturday mornings. he is great with her and can make her smile just by walking into a room.

all and all the smith family is going great just loving the time we spend together.

we want everyone to know we love you and appreciate everything you have done to help out.

thanks mom for watching jacy every Thursday night well we work and thanks to Janet, Jeff, rachel, Landon, Brita, Mike and Kristin for watching jacy when we needed you to last min. thanks to everyone for all the prayers and blessings for jacy and kasey well we where going though our rough patch.

jacy is 5 months on the 26 she weighs 13 lbs and 7 oz and so full of energy she talks all day long she rolls over all the time and is now in the crib in her own room. she loves her bath and LOVES BABY FOOD if she could choose she would eat food not a bottle all day long. she cant wait to eat sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes for thanksgiving tomorrow.

we are doing good just trying to get use to the cold. Shawn is doing good in school half way through the semester and working part time still at kfc. I'm just working with my mom full time having lots of fun and working 3 shifts a week at kfc. i will start school in Jan. we are just looking forward to haven jacy for all the holidays this year.

kasey lol she was 8 lbs 5 oz and 22.25 inch long the doctor said she looks great and healthy she took her shots like a champ the best a baby could any ways. she does have a clogged tear duct and might have to have surgery to open it if it does not on its own by a year.

went to my 6 week check after birth this is dr. gatherum my obgyn with jacy he was such a great doctor always making shore i am taken care of. i would recommend him to all the girls out there he was so awesome I'm doing great made a full recovery and jacy is doing amazing weighing 7 lbs 6 oz.

we went to the doctor today she gained 12 oz. she weighs 6 pounds and 20.25 inches long.

she is growing like a weed, but her jaundice is not going down just staying the same so we are going in Friday next week to get it checked again and she will be one month.

sorry no new pix yet i just wanted to update every one. jacy went to the doctor wen. and he said she is a vary cute health little girl. i use to work with him when i worked at color country ped. so he told me to slowly turn her oxygen down and hopefully she will be off it by wen next week. i went to the doctor today he says i am healing great I'm up doing every thing i did before every thing happened i guess it helps when you are vary motivated to get out of the hospital bed and get down to your little girl and husband. didn't have much pain because i was vary side tracked with every thing going on. he also told me he sent the placenta to the lab and found out that is was torn and its a good thing we got her out.!!!!! and the even better part I LOST 20 POUNDS ya!!!! I'm almost back to my high school weight i guess jacy keeps me going so much i don't have time to just sit down and snack.! i want to say thank you again to every one for all the prayers for jacy, me and Shawn they really helped us get through this hard time. and every one for all the support and making shore we where OK. we have the best family and friends WE LOVE YOU!!!!

We are home she is doing great and cant wait till she does not have to have the oxygen because of elevation change. she is our angel. she is a good baby and only shows her attitude when you wake her up. but we wanted to thank every one for the prayers and all the support everyone gave us. so i just got back from my 37 week check up, jacy is feet first or breach position :( but healthy the doctor gave us a few options one you can get an epidural today and we can try and turn her but there is risk of your water braking, the baby getting stressed and the bag pulling away from the wall all ending in C-Section.:( or we can wait till 39 weeks and try and turn her but if she does not turn we will take her out that day or you can just wait and see what happens when you go into labor. Shawn and i decided that the best option for me and the baby would be to see if she turns by 39 weeks if not then just have the C-Section done then. so my doctor is scheduling a c-section for July 9Th not shore on time yet other then that she is strong and healthy we saw her breathing on the ultrasound today her heart still beating strong. my blood pressure is good 110/68. I'm feeling fine just nervous and cant wait to see her. i will keep you updated.

well with less then a month left there is not much to say she is doing good, dropped into my hips and I'm not dilated or effaced yet we will see what next weeks check will bring. thank you to every one for all the gifts for her and the support we have. looking forward to being a mom and Shawn a dad and showing her off to everyone.

so i went to the doctor yesterday for my check up and every thing was good her heart beat is at 146 bpm and my blood pressure is staying low at 110/68 and all together i have gained 12 pounds so far. but he said she was measuring big so i went in for an ultrasound today and her head was measuring 36 weeks her body 35weeks and her legs 34 weeks. the guy said the doctor would call me on Monday to tell me what he thought she was measuring when he compared the last one at 18 weeks to this one so we will see.

when we went up north for Jake's wedding this last weekend we went to the mall and got premo parking guess there is some advantages of being pregnant. lol i had started making a blaket for jacy to keep my self busy so i crocheted a 26 stitch by 26 row squares and put them together i love how it turned out.

Dr said I'm doing good she is growing fast we herd her heart beat louder then ever yesterday, talked about kick counts and the braxton hicks contractions i have been getting. mostly well im at Kfc but what do ya do im going to try and work once a week at kfc after the baby is here prob. just a Monday night and mom or dad can watch her. seames like kfc is the most stable job right now. even daycare is hard to know if you will always have the income you need. we get a new little baby starting next week he is 2 weeks old and so so so cute every new baby i see makes me want jacy here more and more it will come soon I'm 7 months 2 weeks today.kyle got 3 more chickens from an object lesson his seminary teacher had that makes 9 chickens and the day care love them.

My mom was chosen for iron county mother of the year. she works so hard making shore that every one has what they need kimber and i put her in for it because the whole family thinks she deserves something for working so hard and still having time to make sure every one has what they need. my mom has always been my role model and my best friend, i love working with her and being with her every day even on the week ends i some how manage to come over to her house or call her.

went to my 28 week check up today. she is doing good heat beat of 150 bpm my blood pressure is staying low 110/60. i now get to go to the doctor every other week we are almost there! Shawn is finishing his first year of school and we just found out we qualified for finical aid for next year. we are so excited for jacy to get here cant wait. glad our summer is a full schedule so it will go by faster cant wait to see all the family this summer at Jake's wedding and family reunions.

kids are so curious when it comes to baby's.

one day care kid asked me Why did you eat your baby?(why is it in your tummy?). i said cuz heavenly father is magic and he put it there.all he said was oh OK. another asked does she have a diaper on? i said no, he just laughed and said she is naked. all of them keep asking me when is she coming out to play, one of the kids birthdays is in July so i just said on cadens birthday, oh can i hold her when she comes out? yes. all of them are so worried to sit to far back on my lap thinking they will squish the baby. we had a fun conversation a while ago what happens when we die, i just told them we go see heavenly father in his castle on the clouds, kids being kids they said and the dragons will come out and scare us, and thinking creatively i said no he has a bubble over it so nothing bad can get you.

23 week check up

went to the Dr. yesterday for my 23 week check up Dr. said every thing looks good she still would not hold still to get her heart beat checked (160). he said my thyroid looks good got my dose upped last time, my next app is not till April 22 at 28 week then i will get my rogame shot for the RH factor and after that i have to go every two weeks. Shawn still working hard getting his home work done. we love our new neighbors lol happens to be the missionary's lol we get to hear church music all the time and they are so nice. good switch sense we lived next to a sex offender and an ex criminal. cant wait for the cox Reunion in June and the wood Reunion in Sept. (at otter creek).

Shawn's birthday was the 17Th this month he turned 21 years old, Kasey got him some jack stands he wanted , Karen got him a pliers set and a 10 dollar gift card to arbys his fav fast food place, Kristin got him a bib for the baby that says i love my daddy and his mom got him a book to look up the parts he needs for his truck. we went to applebees for dinner and that Percy Jackson movie it was better then harry potter i think.

no worries its not out of cedar lol. just closer to the collage, we found a two bedroom one bath for just a little more then I'm paying for our one bedroom now the best part is its an extra bedroom for the baby and its right across the street from the SUU campus this will help with space and gas money considering if we really wanted to we could walk to kfc to lol.

OK OK so i went to my 14 week appointment today but they didn't do an ultra sound they just checked the baby's heart beat 160 beats a min, my belly is getting bigger and bigger my morning sickness would prob be gone if i didn't have this stupid sinus infection lol. the doctor said the baby sounds good and my next appointment is Feb. 19 and i will get my gender ultrasound with in the next two weeks after that i will keep you up to date as things happen

time shore flys i hit 12 weeks today 1/1/2010 baby is getting big I'm starting to get a bump cant ware my old jeans any more lol figuring out that there is no extra room in my tummy now . Shawn starts another semester on the 4Th with just a few classes a math, history, English (last class to finish English requirements)an art class and required computer class to get to know the library. the new year is starting off great my next Dr app. is Jan. 15 so i will post then.

went in for my 10 week check he said every thing is looking good and the baby looks really good it was so fun to hear the heart beat 168 beats per min. and see it moving around in there Shawn said we have to wait till the ultra sound in Feb to start getting gender color stuff ( he is still hoping for a boy lol men will be men. )

so i took this test and it said I'm having a girl lol my friend did it and it was right and i have herd alot of feed back that they really work but we will see in Feb. by ultrasound to be shore cant wait. my 10 week Dr app is tomorrow so i will post my ultrasound for it tomorrow.

i know i should just wait till next week when i get my 10 week ultrasound but alot has happened. i have a little bump coming in and I'm getting use to the morning sickness even though i have lost it more in 3 weeks then i can remember for my hole life lol but it is all worth it we herd and saw the heart beat at 7 weeks it was amazing i cant wait. we went back to Shawn's Dr and found out he is lactose and torrent both of us working really hard Shawn has his last two finals tomorrow and then he can relax for a month. just for kicks and giggles the names we picked YES ALREADY!!!! lol if girl Kaylee Lorraine smith Kaylee for my mom (lee) and Lorraine for me and grandma, and if a boy its trayson Shawn smith tayson cuz i like it and Shawn cuz you know why. lol well i will up date again next week.

went to my 6 week appointment today they found the baby in the right spot but i still have a huge thing in my tube the Dr is running some blood tests and might do an ultra sound on that spot again to see if their is blood flow around it he believes its a cyst but wants to do further testing. he said the baby looks great though.

i was going to wait till Christmas but i cant I'm to excited. we are expecting I'm only 4 weeks and 2 days but we are expecting due date is July 16 2010. i feel alot better this time no bad signs so far but i just wanted to let every one know everyone.

we went to the doctor today for Shawn it turns out its not his gallbladder its on the opposite side from the gallbladder, its something to do with his stomic they are checking for a bug in his stomic or lactose in tolerate or just acid bugging his stomic we also asked about his cyst on his wrist the doctor said hop on the table and lay down then he numbed it up with 4 shots and grabbed a big needle and syringe and sucked the fluid out of the cyst for free he was so awesome. killed two birds with one stone NO SURGERY!!!!!! that saved 5,000 we didn't have any ways.

wow oh wow is daycare prepping me for mother hood just today i changed 7 poopy dypers from 8 to 12. I'm learning to dill with the fussy baby and figuring out what she wants. keeping on a schedule is hard to the kids know our schedule so well they always say " dance then read then lunch then naps?" yep your right. learning to be patent with one of the kids teaching him to count. he counted his fingers today as " one two three one two" on one hand he cant quite say four yet. just like " bob bob go pants" lol i love kids.

I cant believe Halloween has come and gone and its November. we had fun on Halloween carved pumpkins and visting family one of my nephews dressed up as a clown hes 1 1/2 it was so cute then the other will be 9 in Dec. he was a ninja my niece dressed up as an angel she has red hair though so she could not hide her fiery personality. we went to Shawn's moms house and saw her his step dad Jeff his sister Rachel her husband Landon and his brother Mike and his wife Brita it was fun.

THERE IS SNOW EVERY WHERE!!!! we are not ready for the cold, we still have so mush to do. if you didn't already know Shawn has been having pain on his left side when he eats some foods and soda for about a year and a half, he had his stomic scoped in august and an ultra sound done last week and a hida scan done Monday (injection of die and fluid like a fatty meal to see if it is his gallbladder). turns out that they where negative but it hurt when they did the hida scan so he is being sent to a specialist Tuesday because 80% of people that have the tests done and are negative it is the gallbladder any ways, so he may be getting his gallbladder out. he is almost done with his first semester of school and loving his history class lol good thing right being his major. my immune system is still down just now getting over cold number 4. no swin flu yet good thing.

OK so last year i didn't really decorate for Halloween cuz we where moving so much but this year i did Little more. i did cob webs In the front window with window decals and did caution tap on the door and did pumpkins and leafs and a web in the house to.

well i love sewing and i have been trying to keep my self busy so i made a baby jean quilt with crocheted squares it took me two weeks with what little time i have but its done the jungle, ducky and blue and white one is the ones i have made seance we have been married.

sorry it has been so long. i just wanted to get you up dated. I passed our baby fine my numbers went back to normal, i just had my HSG done (they pushed die into me to see if my tubes are blocked of not)my left lube is still really stretched out from the baby but its also still blocked.my right tube is fine so now I'm just waiting to hear from the doctor to see if he wants to remove my tube before trying again or if i can just try again. its been tough coping with it but i have they best family and husband to support and help me my mom is my best friend and she is helping me get through it one day at a time I'm lucky to have her with me every day i love working with her. we have the cutest one month old in daycare and she made me cry when she first started coming it made me want our baby even more. but i just Cherish every day with those baby's and cant wait till we can try again.

its been hard getting through this my numbers are still droping but they are not done yet! my body is worn out and still in off and on pain went to the er last night to get some pain pills. the Dr thinks i might have passed a kidney stone on the opposite side from the pregnancy.

just found out that I'm having a ectopic pregnancy. the baby is growing in my Fallopian tube, so they have to give me kemo medication through iv to kill the growing cells, so that i don't have to go in for surgery because my tube has burst.

this last weekend we went to the cox reunion in richfield at the KOA me and Shawn stayed in a cabin it was nice it just needed a bathroom so you don't have to walk clear across the camp ground to go to the bathroom lol. we went to otter creek, big rock candy mountion and some of the family went golfing. it was so hot we where in the pool every chance we had.

this last weekend we went camping for the smith reunion. we went to Sydney valley, we road four wheelers from camp to duck creek. we went fishing, and played card games. just cant wait to go camping for the cox reunion in richfield. Shawn is getting excited for school to start and Kasey is excited to get more day care kids in Aug.

sorry no pix with this one i just need to get some stuff off my mind. so Shawn starts school in Aug. going into secondary education History teacher and i am so proud of him. he was just diagnosed with ostio arthritis in all his joints, he has a gangrean cyst or " bible bump" on his wrist that's made of fatty tissue and joint fluid he has to get removed witch will take a wile its 100 dollars just to see the Dr for diagnosis before surgery and we just found out he needs his wisdom teeth out to. i feel so bad i feel like i caused him this pain some how he was fine till we got married. i love him so much i wish i could just take all his pain away i hope i can get him better.

this last weekend was fun we had our little family Reunion at otter creek it rain a lot Kasey caught a pretty big fish and Shawn had a fun ride in the boat. grandma and grandpa cox came down for one day to hang out and took 8 fish home. i cant wait till next year.

I am so sick of moving this is the fourth time in nine months. last week i pulled my book shelf out on Friday to paint it and there was mold up both sides of it so i called the land lord and let him know and he was like OK just fine a new place i will give you your money back and so he had a specialist come yesterday and he found out there is mold in the walls and under the kitchen cabinets and the humidity was 7% out side yesterday and the apartment was 22% so we will be moving over closer to my mom and by the college in the university west apartments by wen. Shawn starts school in august with his pel grant and he cant wait to work in the major he chose other than that not much has changed we went shooting with Shawn's new gun, and found out the reason it has been so hard to have kids is because i have i high thyroid so i have to go to the doc this we and get my medication.

I'm truly a blond now! lol i walked in the door of work (if you didn't know i do daycare with my mom.) and all the kids where like who is that? lol i love doing daycare i finally found what i want to do for the rest of my life. i have always wanted to be a mom and this is one way i can do it they are my little Buddy's.!!

This weekend we went camping with Shawn's sister Rachael her husband Landon and their two kids Baileigh and Mike. we had so much fun we went four wheeling on Shawn's bike he got for Easter and got covered in mud both Saturday and Sunday. we camped at Enterprise it was not to cold. we played Hand and foot till about 2:00 on Sunday morning and slept in lol having breakfast for lunch. we went up cedar mountain on Sunday and found the huge pulley system the miners used to haul them and the loads over the mountain.

so Shawn went to the emergency room a few weeks ago for really bad pain in his right side so bad he could not sleep and had a sever kidney infection and was treated with antibiotics and pain medication. for Easter Shawn got a Honda 300 four wheeler and a 20 gage shot gun and the Toby Keith greatest hit CD. He gave me a dozen Colorful flowers a water jug to keep in the fridge for cold water , lots of chocolate and the yes man DVD. we are going camping this weekend hope to have some more pix to post.
